Arakan Mayyu Organization for Development

 

Arakan Mayyu Organization for Development (AMOD) is a non-profit organization based in Canada dedicated to serving the needs and interests of Rohingya refugees and displaced persons from Arakan (Rakhine) State in Myanmar.

Our mission is to empower and uplift the Rohingya community through sustainable development initiatives, advocacy, and support services.

At AMOD, we believe in the inherent dignity and rights of every individual, and we are committed to addressing the unique challenges and vulnerabilities faced by Rohingya refugees in Canada and beyond.

“Our mission is to provide comprehensive support and resources to Rohingya refugees resettled in Canada, addressing their immediate needs while empowering them to integrate successfully into Canadian society.

Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, we strive to raise awareness about the Rohingya crisis, promote cultural understanding, and advocate for policies that uphold the rights and dignity of Rohingya refugees.

We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where Rohingya refugees can thrive and contribute positively to their new home country.”
